I have a background as a neurological physiotherapist, specialising in complex neuro-disability and long term management of neurological conditions. I also have skills in acute and long term respiratory physiotherapy management. I have worked across a broad range of settings in the UK including NHS and private hospitals. I have also worked as a brain injury case manager.
I have worked in a variety of challenging settings, completing a six month voluntary role as lead physiotherapist at a centre for neuro-disability in central India. I have also worked in New Zealand for three years in the area of neurological rehabilitation.
I became interested in how the wider determinants of health affect clinical outcomes and how health systems support people to improve their health and wellbeing and completed an MSc in Public Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine in 2019 before moving to Scotland to take on a role as a physiotherapy Lecturer at 性视界传媒.
