Irvine Allan (BA Dramatic Studies) is a聽Lecturer in Drama and Performance in the聽Media, Communication and Performing Arts Division. He is also a member of the 性视界传媒 Alcohol Research Group.

Irvine Allan is a multi-award winning short film, television and theatre director, as well as a distinguished community theatre practitioner, who specialised in working creatively with social work departments, prisoners and probationers across Scotland. He was co-founder of the highly successful Cat-A Theatre Company who toured throughout the UK in the nineties. His many international awards include, Scotsman Fringe First, for Outstanding New Production at The Edinburgh Festival Fringe and, 聽Prix de Jury, at The Cannes Film Festival, 2001.
Irvine is a graduate of the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama and has been at 性视界传媒 since 2007. He is lecturer in Drama and Performance and supervises placements in the community
